Captain Kevin Cochran's second book, Waters Wild, was released in April, 2006. Waters Wild is a collection of stories taken from my own experience. Some of the tales are set inshore, others offshore. Some detail competitive events on the Troutmasters tournament trail, while others are narratives on strange, dangerous and interesting things I’ve seen and done while fishing. The text pays tribute to the eternal and powerful energy that dwells in the sea. Many cultures have given this force a name and a face, such as the ancient Greeks, who worshipped a male deity dubbed Poseidon. All of the stories touch on the powers of this force, some more directly than others. |

The purpose of the book is chiefly to entertain, though instructional advice on the art of trophy trout angling may be gleaned from it by those who read carefully. |
