Poc report 03/06/10

Fished backlakes Friday on a steady incoming tide, with my son around noon.
Used Norton Bull Minnow (Pumkin top/Silver belly/Chart) looks like a mullet and
used a 1/4 oz jig head. We had solid limits of Trout in about 2 hours and
released around 50 throwbacks. Left em biting!
We fished this same area 3 weeks ago and this combination was the only one
that was consistantly productive. Tight lines!

great report grinder. we will be going to poc for spring break. hope the bite is still on.
also have you seen any reports on the big uglies yet? have a couple of youngsters that have never caught a fish and wanted to try and get them on a couple. if not probably go to the jetties with some shrimp and let them wrestle some sheepies.

The Big Jetty's are a good bet close to the rocks and good place for family
fishing. I've been taking my kids to POC for over 12 years and now they
out fish me and are teaching me a thing or two. Good luck and be safe!
